The homeowners wanted to achieve a luxurious look without sacrificing functionality for their two young children. The space needed to remain clean, open, and storage-friendly while still delivering the upscale materiality and feel of a modern home. A bomb shelter wall sat prominently in the main space, and the layout of the original 4-room needed to be adapted for both function and flow.

What We Did:
We hacked one of the bedrooms to open up the living and dining space, giving the common areas room to breathe. A large mirror panel was added to the bomb shelter wall to reflect light and visually expand the space without structural alteration.

A sleek shoe cabinet with a built-in bench anchors the entryway with both comfort and purpose, while the dining area was fitted with additional built-in storage—ideal for managing kids’ essentials discreetly.

In the bathroom, a marble-grain tile finish elevates the look, while a custom vanity area featuring splinted stone adds a subtle tactile contrast—a luxurious detail that stands out without overwhelming the space.

Throughout the home, layered textures—stone, laminates, mirrors, and soft finishes—were used strategically to bring depth and dimension. The suspended TV console completes the look with a visually light touch, maintaining the overall sense of flow and openness.
